DUS was contracted by Woods Bagot as an independent design consultant, to develop a vision and master planning development option for a mixed use master plan adjacent to the Sharjah University . The vision was to create a new landmark mixed use development for with a global appeal. Aljada aims to create a unique, mixed use community that is self sustained and provides its residents with a contemporary urban lifestyle within a green and pedestrian friendly environment. Aljada also provides the unique opportunity for cross pollination between the Sharjah University Campus and new commercial and cultural enterprises within the development.
